SERVICE, SINCERITY, & INTEGRITY… THIS IS MAGNUM SYSTEMS

"To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity."

- Douglas Adams

Taylor Products and Smoot Company, Divisions of Magnum Systems, place a special value on their approach to service. Whether it’s a bag filling machine, a rotary airlock, a pneumatic conveying system or full processing solution, our approach is the same…provide the best experience from Concept to Completion.

The sincerity and integrity of our employees is what drives the customer-centric approach to service Magnum Systems has built a reputation on. Our customers will tell you, Magnum Systems goes beyond offering great products for bag filling or pneumatic conveying. We offer comprehensive solutions through all three stages of service: pre-sale, in-sale and post-sale.

Pre-Sale Service

Pre-sale service is as important for a basic component as it is for our customized processing systems. The specific requirements often differ from customer to customer, but the underlying value Magnum Systems provides in this stage remains consistent: understand the customer needs, develop a mutual view of a solution, tailor the system to the agreed upon needs, explain the concept in detail, and offer the best value proposition possible. In order to achieve these outcomes effectively, Magnum Systems breaks pre-sale service into four areas:

1. Discovery
Our sales and engineering professionals welcome the opportunity to visit face-to-face with our potential customers. This allows for uncovering details of business needs and visions of the future. We will take the time to listen, ask questions and work to understand the requirements to make our customers more successful in their industries.

 2. Preparation
Our experts take the information gathered from site visits, customer meetings, and other discovery activities to optimize solutions to meet the needs of the customer while evaluating options for staging and/or future integrations.

 3. Demonstration
We encourage our clients to utilize our test facilities in Parsons, KS and Kansas City, KS to validate the solution, identify concerns, determine customized features, and simulate real world scenarios.

 4. Initial Proposal
Our sales and engineering staff provide cost effective and sustainable solutions tailored to the information gathered, testing validation, data analysis, and specific customer requests.

In-Sale Service

In-sale service is the stage where Magnum Systems takes the customer beyond a client relationship and solidifies the partnership aspect needed for a successful application. In many cases, our contact at the end-user facility must “sell” the concept to other stakeholders in the company. Magnum Systems will be with you through the process, developing concept drawings, providing presentation information, performing calculations, and suggesting possible ROI when available based on the information provided.

Our in-sale service reaches beyond a Magnum Systems Sales Manager. Our executives, engineering department, production area, customer service professionals, and technical service department are prepared to make sure all the “i’s” are dotted and “t’s” are crossed for the decision makers.

Post-Sale Service

Our history in the bag filling and pneumatic conveying industries provide a realistic understanding of customer expectations for cost-effective and reliable post-sales support. Because of our history and dedicated employees, Magnum Systems sincerity and integrity shine. We value the partnerships we have made with many of our past customers and continue the relationship through F.A.T., start-up and scheduled maintenance programs. Magnum Systems concentrates on a user-friendly experience through all four aspects of post-sale service:

1. F.A.T.
We are equipped to set up your bag filling system at our facility for a witnessed check-out and training on use, maintenance, trouble-shooting and finalization. Our sales, engineering and technical service staff are prepared to answer questions during the visit to assure you are confident in functionality and capability of the equipment BEFORE it reaches your facility.

 2. Start-Up/Installation
Our project managers attend to every detail of your order every step of the way. From internal kick-off meetings between sales, purchasing, and engineering through the hand-off from engineering to fabrication/assembly and continues to delivery/start-up at your location with installation supervision and training.

 3. Technical Support
Magnum Systems’ technical service and controls experts are ready to answer questions or concerns regarding the way your system is running, potential upgrade capabilities or casual adjustments to environmental conditions. Designing a maintenance plan, walking your staff through trouble shooting techniques or hands-on, we are ready to assist you via phone, internet, email or face-to-face.

 4. After-Market Service
Our existing customers tell us Magnum Systems has the most professional and knowledgeable customer service professionals on both the bag filling and pneumatic conveying sides of the industry. Our experts can provide components, spare parts, accessories, and answers to help determine the next steps necessary to enhance your processing demands.

Let us prove ourselves to you and demonstrate service with sincerity and integrity. Magnum Systems…Concept to Completion.
