Lenexa, KS – 4/2/2021 Bill Mead is appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Magnum Systems, a North American equipment manufacturer of bulk solids pneumatic conveying and packaging automation systems. He assumed responsibilities on Monday, March 22, 2021.

A native of Parsons, KS, Bill comes to us with over 25 years of experience with manufacturing companies. He started his career in 1995 as a Staff Accountant with Orbseal, a manufacturer of sealants and adhesives for automotive OEM’s, progressing to the positions of Purchasing Manager, and Accounting Manager. He joined Kalmar Industries in 2005, a manufacturer of industrial material and container handling equipment, as Division Controller. In 2008, Bill was recruited to CST Industries, a manufacturer of storage tanks and geodesic domes, for the position of Vice President/Corporate Controller where he managed the accounting and treasury functions as well as the health and benefit plans.
Bill received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Ottawa University and his MBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Kansas. Bill passed the CPA exam upon receiving his undergraduate degree and he holds the Certified Management Accountant designation from the IMA.
