A Little Bit About Magnum

Formed in 2001, Magnum Systems was born out of Smoot and Taylor Products, two quality brands dating back to the 1960s. Founded in 1960 in Kansas City, KS, Smoot focused on manufacturing pneumatic conveying systems, components, and our prized rotary airlock valves for the material handling industry. Taylor Products was founded in 1969 in Parsons, KS, initially providing bagging and packaging equipment to the seed industry. Our offerings have expanded from bagging, packaging, and container handling to integrated technology, like robotic automation.

  • Profit Sharing Program: This is distributed upon the company achieving overall performance targets.
  • Paid Time Off: Full-time employees are allotted PTO at a rate of 88 hours per year, which increases during their length of employment.
  • Retirement Plans: 50% company match up to 6.0% of your contributing salary. Vested 100% in company match after three years of service. Vested 100% in employee deferral immediately. Program eligibility begins the first day of the month after one year of service.
  • Health Care Plans: Magnum pays a portion of individual and family health care plans.
