Chemical production leaves no room for variation. Tight tolerances, complex formulations, and strict requirements demand control of process conditions at every stage. Disconnected systems introduce risk, limit traceability, and impact performance. Magnum Systems brings materials, batching, and processing into a controlled environment where every input and outcome stays within specification.

We create custom solutions for chemical manufacturers, including blending, reactors, nitrogen blanketing, rubber, refining, bioprocessing, extrusion, drying, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), track & trace, and production scheduling.

Here are a couple of custom solutions we delivered to chemical manufacturers:

  • Cleanroom worker in a blue suit, mask, and gloves operates polished stainless steel reactors on a diamond-plate floor.

Aluminum Silicate Processing: Dense-phase conveying systems, including pressure vessels, bin vent filters, controls/PLC, air packers, impeller packers, bulk-bag filler, truck loadout, robotic bag placement, robotic palletizing, and stretch wrapping.

  • The Material: Aluminum silicate (kyanite & mullite)
  • The Solution: Our customer mines raw ore processed through a ball mill, with material around 9 on the Mohs hardness scale. A dense-phase system moves it from the mill to 8 storage silos. From there, 12 air slides transfer it to 3 systems that load it into small bags, bulk bags, or trucks. Small bag lines include two banks of valve-bag packers, impeller packers for fine mesh, and air packers for coarse mesh. Each bank has a robotic bag placer, and two lines feed a robotic palletizer that now places and palletizes up to 16 bags per minute. Finally, the finished pallets are securely wrapped and stored.


Packaging Application – Chemical Powder: The customer required inline metal detection at the final point, just before filling the package, not before the bag. The package was a Kraft valve bag and required a tamper-proof, food-grade seal. Magnum Systems provided a Model A air packer equipped with the Tru Seal Ultrasonic sealer. Inline metal detection was implemented by modifying the packer frame and installing an inline product metal detector in the fill spout, just before the product enters the bag.

  • The Material: Dry Phosphate Powder
  • The Solution: This custom metal-detection feature gave the customer added security beyond what upstream testing or magnets alone could provide and enabled detection of stainless steel in the product stream. The entire system was fully automated, with two Model A Air Packers, TRV-1000 robotic bag placement, a filled-bag conveyor system with checkweigh and bag conditioning, and a TRP-3000 robotic palletizer.
